Privacy notice

This notice explains what information Math Magic Online collects, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Our programs are for children, so we collect children's details only from their parent or guardian, who gives consent on the child's behalf.
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, phone number, optional email address, your child's grade, the program you're interested in, your preferred contact method, your message, and which page or advertising campaign brought you to the site. Enquiries from our Facebook/Instagram lead forms include the same kind of details.
- Enrolment: your child's name and grade, your name, mobile number, email address and city, the chosen program and batch, and whether you agree to receive WhatsApp updates.
- Payments: invoice amounts and payment status. Online payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login. For bank transfers we record the transaction reference (UTR), date and amount you enter.
- Free tables test: the parent's name, mobile number and email, your child's name, grade, school, syllabus and city, and the answers, score and time taken, so we can show and email the result.
- Learning records: progress reports written by our teachers (skills mastered and what to practise next).
- Messages: a log of the WhatsApp messages and emails we send you (receipts, reminders, reports).
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and help you choose a suitable program.
- To enrol your child, run classes, share progress reports and send fee receipts and reminders.
- To keep accurate accounts and meet our legal and tax obligations.
- To send newsletters and updates about new batches, only if you opted in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. Until you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, Google tools run in a privacy mode that sets no cookies and sends no personal data, and the Meta Pixel sends nothing at all. If you choose "Decline", it stays that way. Parent story videos are hosted on Instagram and only load when you choose to play one. The admin area uses a single sign-in cookie for staff.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the program, and only for that purpose: Razorpay (payments), Meta (Facebook/Instagram lead forms and WhatsApp messages), Zoho (CRM), Google (Workspace email, analytics and backups) and Vercel and our database host (website hosting and storage). Some of these providers may store data outside India.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact, and student and payment records for as long as your child is enrolled and then for up to 8 years, as required for accounting and tax records. After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous.
Keeping it safe
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Only authorised staff can open the admin area, using individual passwords, and we keep regular backups.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update or delete your or your child's information, withdraw a consent you gave (for example, for WhatsApp updates or newsletters), or nominate someone to act for you. To do any of this, or to raise a concern, contact the Math Magic team. We aim to reply within 7 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
How to delete your data
To delete the information you gave us, including through a Facebook or Instagram lead form or the free tables test, email the Math Magic team with the subject "Delete my data" and the mobile number or email you used. We will delete it from our website records and our CRM within 30 days and confirm by email. Records we must keep for accounting and tax (paid invoices) are kept only for the period the law requires.
